I was contemplating going to see the new Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz movie, Knight and Day, only because I like movies and there have been too few that were half-way decent during this very hot summer. But I don’t like former Catholic-turned-Scientologist Cruise.
I am also not crazy about Diaz, a slutty blonde who is into the environment. (Yeah, I can see her spending long days and nights trying to preserve flora and fauna while wearing itsy bitsy bikinis, which show off thighs that don’t touch.)
Cameron Diaz represents the worst of Hollywood and shame on her for her loose talk which may negatively impact the young, who worship skinny blondes! What a sick society we live in!
Recent statements by the blonde idiot really have made my jaw drop and have made me grateful I kept my $12 in my pocket. (Hey, it is Manhattan so tickets are way overpriced!)
I read about her comments on staying young-looking and realized she was more stupid and vapid than I thought:
”I guess it’s exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex, yes sex, we need that as human beings. It’s healthy, it’s natural, it’s what we are here to do,” contactmusic.com quoted Diaz as saying. (emphasis added)
We were placed on the earth to have sex? That is our purpose in life? How sad for her that she is personifying the worst traits of a devil-may-care bachelor (aka a male slut).
I should, and to some extent do, feel bad for her. Her ignorance and, quite frankly, depravity are jarring. She may think promiscuity keeps her young–this is a never married lady who purportedly gets around–but it gives people diseases and, if anything, that kind of lifestyle is prematurely aging.
Let’s see if she is hot in her 40s. Somehow I don’t think so. Ask the many ladies who have followed her example in Hollywood–they ain’t so pretty now but the impressionable young see the fun part, not what happens after.
Diaz also told Playboy:
“Oh gosh, I can’t even count how many times I’ve gotten on a plane for love. It’s not unusual in this business; my lifestyle demands it. I’m always traveling for [whispers] c**k. You’ve got to go where it is.”
What is fascinating is that she mistakes sex for love (as many people in the modern age do). That is probably why she is single and a little pathetic. I don’t care how tight her abs are–she is approaching cougar territory and it is not socially acceptable for her to be acting like a 20 year old. And like a young, dim-witted girl, this potential role model celebrates sex over feeling, a romp over commitment.
Not a message to be sending our daughters.
Maybe Cameron needs some therapy. She sure as heck needs a dose of morality before she catches VD. You play with fire…
